Questions about jars
What is JAR?+
A launchpad where every coin fills a jar for an X account. Every trade pays pump.fun creator fees: 70% goes into the jar, 20% buys and burns $JAR, and 10% goes to whoever launched the coin. The split is locked on-chain at launch and nobody can change it.
Who can take the money out of a jar?+
Only the owner of the X account, by signing in with X and adding their own Solana wallet. Nobody receives money they did not choose to claim.
What is a spill?+
If a jar is not claimed within 7 days of its first fee, it spills: half of it buys back and burns the jar coin itself, and half buys and burns $JAR. Every spill is on the spill calendar and in the ledger, with the transactions.
Why would I buy a jar coin?+
It wins either way. If the person claims, it is a public moment that gets posted everywhere. If they never claim, half the jar buys back and burns the coin when it spills. And every trade makes the jar heavier and harder to ignore.
What does the launcher get?+
10% of the coin's creator fees, forever, paid straight to the wallet that launched it by pump.fun's fee split. Launch coins for people with real audiences and push them.
Can there be more than one coin for the same person?+
Yes, and they all fill the same jar. There is one jar per X account. Every coin anyone launches for @name drops its jar share into @name's one jar, so the owner claims everything in one go. The spill clock starts at the jar's first fee.
Can a jar have more than one person?+
A coin can split its jar share between up to 5 X accounts. Each account still has its own single jar.
What does JAR charge?+
Nothing on claims. The platform earns through $JAR: 20% of every jar coin's fees and half of every spill buy and burn it.
I don't want a jar. How do I close it?+
Message JAR on X from the account the jar is for, and we close it. A closed jar gets no new fees. Money already inside can still be claimed, or it spills on schedule.
Is anything hidden?+
No. Every fee payout, burn, claim and spill is a public Solana transaction, listed in the ledger.
Is this financial advice?+
No. Memecoins are extremely volatile. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
